This, I promise.

Hi everyone! Wow, it's been ages since I've been really active on here. I've been lurking around for a while, but... yeah not very active any more... I expect that to change soon, though.

Why?

Because: I'M GOING BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

Yep, I started a couple of weeks ago taking storyboarding and Animation production. I finally realized that my true passion lies in art no matter what. On my first day of my Storyboarding class, I found myself unbelievably excited. THIS is something that I would want to do. What's cool is that we can sign up to work with people from my college's film department to get experience.

It must have been less than two weeks and I already had someone emailing me wanting me to work with them. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I WAS!!! Today I met up with the director and spent 7 hours mapping out his script on paper. It was an amazing experience. It was long, and tedious (177 drawings!) but it was well worth it. I'm super excited to have my name credited in a film and it's the first in my portfolio of hopefully many more to come. The director was way cool and said he would recommend me to the rest of the film department and give me a special thanks in the credits too!

He couldn't believe I had never done it before and was really happy about my quick response and enthusiasm. It's moving so fast, and I am really really excited! Keep an eye out in the next couple of weeks for a few short animations from me (really short). and I'll let you know when the film is all finished (which I believe is at the end of the semester)
